VEIL Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for orders placed on veilpuff.com, operated by Pretty Serious LLC ("VEIL," "we," "us"). It should be read alongside our [Terms & Conditions] and [Shipping Policy].
1. Return Eligibility
Because VEIL products are personal-care items, we can only accept returns that meet all of the following conditions:
- The item is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging
- The return request is made within 14 days of delivery
- You have proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email)
Not eligible for return:
- Opened or used products
- Final sale, limited-edition, or collectible items (unless received defective or damaged)
- Gift cards
- Products purchased from a third-party retailer or reseller — please refer to their return policy instead
2. How to Request a Return

- We'll confirm eligibility and send you return instructions, including the return address.
- Pack the item securely in its original packaging.
- Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method — we recommend this, as VEIL is not responsible for returns lost in transit back to us.
Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, defective product) or damage in transit.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Your order number
- Photos of the item and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you — no return shipment required in most cases.
4. Refund Processing
- Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we'll notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable, except in cases of our error or a damaged/defective product.
- We do not offer cash or check refunds.
5. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different scent or product, please return the eligible item for a refund and place a new order.
6. Late or Missing Refunds
If you haven't received a refund within the timeframe above:
- Check your bank account or card statement again.
- Contact your card issuer — posting times vary and can add a few business days.

7. Order Cancellations
Orders can only be canceled within a short window after purchase, before they enter fulfillment. Contact us immediately if you need to cancel — once an order has shipped, it is treated as a standard return.
8. Sale & Promotional Items
Items purchased during a sale or with a promotional discount are eligible for return under the standard policy above, and refunds will reflect the price actually paid (not the original list price), unless the item was marked final sale at checkout.
